Research priorities
The National Archives' Research Priorities 2010-2012
The National Archives has three sets of research priorities which reflect the broad range of work we do:
- The strategic research priorities are the four key questions The National Archives want answered by 2013. The research team lead on the delivery of The National Archives' strategic research priorities and are keen to hear from potential partners
- The organisational research priorities include the key priorities for each department across The National Archives including supporting government policy, access use and the user, digital information management, leading the archive and information sector and caring for collections
- The historical research priorities were produced by the records specialists in the Advice and Records Knowledge department who would be interested to receive expressions of interest for collaborative projects, possibly digitisation projects, cataloguing projects or studentships in the highlighted topics
Please email research@nationalarchives.gsi.gov.uk if you are interested in collaborating with The National Archives on any of the topics outlined.
