Family Feuds

The first part of this book explains to the reader why the records of the Court of Chancery and other equity courts are of use to the family historian. It deals with the type of cases that were brought before these courts, what sort of people brought them and how easy they are to read and understand. The second part of the book deals with the records themselves and the indexes and calendars that enable the researcher to use them. Also included are some guidelines on searching the records effectively.
