Notes
The moulded decoration on this jug is of plants, each the emblem of the nations comprising the United Kingdom, the Shamrock for Ireland, the Thistle for Scotland, the Oak for England and a fourth unidentified plant, possibly emblematic of Wales. See designs 209185 and 214372 where a Union related design comprises emblems of the three kingdoms, England, Ireland and Scotland.
