Would you like to book a live virtual classroom taster session?
This taster session introduces teachers to the virtual classroom and shows how this interactive environment is used to engage students with documents from The National Archives’ collection. It is suitable for individuals or groups of teachers.
During the session, an education officer guides participants through the interactive features of the virtual classroom and demonstrates a short document activity from one of our education sessions. Participants can choose to take part in an activity pitched at primary or secondary students. Time is allocated for questions at the end.
To join a taster session, each participant requires either a computer with a microphone and webcam, or a mobile device with Blackboard Collaborate app downloaded.
Before booking a taster session, please ensure that you can access the virtual classroom from your computer or mobile device. Please use our booking form to arrange a suitable time and date, as well an any additional requirements you have for the session.
