Publications on key policy issues

In addition to our specific advice and guidance, we have produced a number of more general publications that will assist records managers in central and local government to devise a coherent electronic records management policy, an implementation strategy and performance assessment. (These publications will also have relevance to other organisations wishing to manage electronic records.)

 

The management of electronic records was a vital element in the government's modernisation programme, and was key to underpinning online service delivery and conformance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
