In many cases further information regarding the business or organisation is listed, following the title. This may include the type, location or branch name of a business or organisation.

The red number in black brackets notes the number of references there are to this business or organisation in the Indexes of the National Register of Archives.

The location of the business or organisation is listed at the beneath the title. In most cases the town and county is provided.
