This document is a report on the petition of Nathan Simpson and five other Jewish merchants to be made denizens (naturalised) of Great Britain, dated 16 May 1712.

The correspondence from Sir Edward Northey is addressed to Queen Anne and concerns denizenship for Jewish merchants such as Nathan Simpson and Samuel Levy - living in New York. The report shows the petition to be complete except for the queen’s power to endorse official denizens, which Sir Edward Northey is requesting.
