There is no specific legislation that we know of that allows for the redaction of a notice. The process for redacting notices is set out in The Gazette privacy policy.

This is set out in The Gazette privacy policy. If a notice is removed it is customary for our contractor, The Stationery Office, to contact the notice placer directly, and this was done in the case of the notice in question.

The notice was redacted because the Publisher could not satisfy itself as to the legal, statutory and/or procedural requirements and accuracy relating to the notice as per clause 5 of the terms and conditions of notice placement and therefore the notice was withdrawn from publication.
