As part of our commitment to promote good information management practice within government, The National Archives is pleased to offer bespoke briefings to ministerial departments and their arms length bodies.
What do we offer?
Our speakers all have extensive experience in senior management and engaging organisations in information security. They will provide a 20 to 45 minute briefing during the normal programme of board and audit committee meetings. The briefing provides an overview of information assurance and cyber security threats at a strategic level, followed by a discussion on effective ways to manage these risks. Each briefing is tailored to suit the specific needs of the organisation and highlight issues of interest to the organisation.
Our speakers include experienced non-executive directors, ex-SIROs, audit committee chairs and other senior level individuals. They have all worked extensively within government to help organisations manage their information assurance and cyber risks.
With the help of your National Archives Information Management Consultant we will select a speaker who best suits the culture and challenges faced by your organisation.
Senior Managers as Cultural Champions
All our briefings are tailored to the interests of the organisation. Topics often covered include:

The executive briefing programme is offered alongside our ongoing Information Management Assessment and Information Management Consultant programmes. We also provide training and eLearning for Information Asset Owners and front-line staff.
The briefings form part of this wider engagement, they ensure a consistent message and emphasis on managing risk is in place across all levels of the organisation.
