Description The Memory Stick Voice (MSV) format is an audio file format that was used on the Sony Memory Stick IC recorder, specifically the ICD-MS1 model. Two versions of the MSV format exist: MSV (ADPCM) and MSV (LPEC). The first version, this one, MSV (ADPCM), uses an unspecified type of ADPCM compression, while MSV (LPEC) uses Sony's proprietary Long-term Predicted Excitation Coding (LPEC) codec.
