Description DAISY (Digital Accessible Information System) is a type of digital book format originally conceived in 1988 as a way of creating talking books for the visually impaired. Books are actually a package of interoperable files. The ncx file is the first file accessed as it lays out the navigation for the whole Daisy Talking Book.
