Charity and voluntary archives at risk: Conceptualising and contextualising a neglected archives sector’ is an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) collaborative doctoral partnership (CDP) between The National Archives and University College London (UCL). In 2023-24, Paul Beard completed a six-month placement in The National Archives’ Sector Leadership department, mapping the archives of charities in England. Results from this work are available from the spreadsheet and report below.

The outputs from this work will contribute to The National Archives’ Charity Archives Development plan, promoting the value of charity archives and raising the profile of record-keeping in the voluntary sector.
