The Digital Archives Learning Exchange (DALE) was established in 2019 to explore digital challenges, build capacity and improve digital skills across the archive sector. Facilitated by The National Archives, DALE aims to be sector-led, with regular chances to feed in to the programme, share learning and explore relevant issues. As well as highlighting examples of best practice and projects from across the sector, DALE provides an introduction to a range of initiatives led by The National Archives.
DALE developed out of our 2018 Digital Learning Set, which included sessions on digital preservation, acquisition and selection, and access and engagement.
Attendance at DALE events is open to delegates from across the archive sector and at all stages of their digital journey.
