As part of a programme of events to mark Victory in Europe (VE) Day 75, Durham County Record Office developed online exhibitions and home-learning resources using content from their recent Archives Revealed and AMOT-funded project, The Durham Light Infantry: a whole new story


Highland Archive Service

The Highland Archive Service created Learn with Lorna, a series of short films to engage with audiences remotely. Originally created as home-schooling resources, the films rapidly grew in popularity and have now been viewed over 100,000 times.


Manchester Together Archive

The Manchester Together Archive has worked with volunteers to catalogue and digitise items that were left at spontaneous memorials following the Manchester attack in 2017. This partnership project between Manchester Art Gallery, Archives+ and the University of Manchester was supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.


North West Sound Heritage

North West Sound Heritage created a series of downloadable training guides on digitising audio formats at home, including zines on audio cassettes and CDs. The Unlocking Our Sound Heritage project is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.


Sheffield City Archives

Sheffield City Archives purchased a collection of over 2000 photographic images following a crowdfunding project together with the generous support of the J.G. Graves Trust. The images were digitised by volunteers and uploaded to the services’ online image library.


Tyne & Wear Archives

Jointly run by Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums and Newcastle Libraries, the Lahav Jewish Heritage Project has been set up to collect, preserve and celebrate the rich history of the Jewish community in Tyne & Wear and North East England.
