Description |
The National Imagery Transmission Format Standard (NITFS) is the standard for formatting
digital imagery and imagery-related products and exchanging them among members of the US Intelligence
Community (IC) and other departments and agencies of the United States Government. The NITF provides a common basis for storage and digital interchange of images and associated data. The NITF can be used as a standard message format for dissemination of images and associated data (text, symbols, labels) via digital communications. |
