  • Sir George Farrar (1859-1915), chairman of East Rand Proprietary Mines: papers relating to the Jameson Raid and the South African War.
  • Rt. Revd. Alston May (1869-1940): correspondence, 1913-14, concerning his appointment as Bishop of Northern Rhodesia.
  • Ferdinand Stephen Joelson (1893-1979), papers as writer on African affairs and proprietor/editor of the weekly journal East Africa and Rhodesia, 1924-67.
  • Sir Maurice Dorman (1912-94): papers as Governor, later Governor-General of Malta, 1962-71, and as Deputy Chairman of the Pearce Commission on Rhodesia, 1971-72, and Chairman of British Observers of Zimbabwe elections, 1980.
  • Major Colin Harding (dates unknown): diary illustrated with sketch-maps of journey, 1899-1901, from Bulawayo to Barotseland in the service of the British South Africa Company.
