You can search and download (charges apply) details of foreign nationals (known as aliens) who arrived in England 1810-1811 and 1826-1869.
These are digitised records from a variety of record series held at The National Archives:
- lists of aliens arriving at English ports (FO 83/21-22)
- certificates of arrival of aliens (HO 2)
- returns and papers of the Home Office (HO 3)
- account of aliens arriving in certificates of arrival numbers 1-1055 (CUST 102/393-395)
- Account of aliens arriving in Gravesend: certificates of arrival (CUST 102/396)
